Stretched Winter Thin
I love this season....it's bright and cheerful, icy and cold, the sun stretching the shadows long and thin, lights in the evening: sparkly, the sense of expectancy: energizing. I'm grateful for the warmth and comfort we're blessed with and a life of peace and safety.
I am living out of a suitcase (have been since the 13th) trying to get a Space A flight back to the states for the holidays. In between requisite time spent pacing the airport terminal floor: the art room and cookie baking has helped in focusing excess energy. This painting will eventually go in my Etsy shop (in vacation mode through the holidays).

ReplyDeleteLovely colors. The blues remind me of winters in the Midwest. I am originally from Illinois.

ReplyDeletei would *love* to see a klee exhibition! were the watercolors behind glass? this i wonder about...
xoxo
Happy Holidays, albeit a bit late (!!) to you as well!..some of the watercolors were behind glass, some were not. It always amazes me that such masterpieces have survived and that we have the ability to stand mere inches from them for close examination.
